Chocolate and berry coated teal...

Friday, 14 October 2011

Really liking teal and chocolate, berry and pink at the moment!

Its giving me a last pop of colour before the Winter sets in good and proper...

And Im enjoying my new homemade hair cut sooo much! Most days Im looking like a cross between Milly Molly Mandy and Winnie the Witch... which I suppose I am really... I just didnt notice it before! Did Winnie knit??? Did you notice my own Wilber under my feet in the picture up there, determinded to get into the limelight?

The weekend is plummeting towards us... again! Weve had a busy week here in Fairysteps Land. Mr F and I have been busy working through orders and Ive been so glad of the help. Not sure if 6ft 4" elves exist but I seem to have found one, so they must!
Littlest and I went to a Home Ed group get together in a park in Exeter this week which was very nice! She had lots of fun meeting some new people, and a couple of girls who were her age, which was even more of a bonus. I think we will go again soon.

Last notes:
I MUST wash the newly finished blanket to show you all...
I must use more pears...
I have to make more chutney this weekend (tomatoes are errupting from the greenhouse like a lava flow...)
Next week I shall start plastering pictures of finished orders over the world wide web...

Have a wonderful weekend to all.

  1. Millie molly many was one of my favourites, and whinnie one of my kids!!
Turns out I live not so far from you, I'm near Crediton.
    Love the blog.

  2. Your daughter did a very professional job of your hair, it looks lovely! I always love your outfits, but last pop of colour? surely not! ;)
    Jess xx

  3. So excited to soon see your creations starting to take shape - especially my shoes! Loving reading your blog, it's really refreshing.

  4. Loving your look and of course, the stripey tights (or are the socks?)...never mind what you say, I love your style!

Sounds like you are having a busy time, and a fun one--good on ya!

  5. I'm so with you on these colours. And you look wonderful, I love your hair as well.

  6. Love the way you put colours together, Ren! I find I too often limit myself to a '2 colour' clothes palette, and add black to tie it all together. I should stop worrying and just wear whatever takes my fancy!

BTW, I have a 6' 4" elf too, very handy to have around...the only disadvantage I find is that he tends to put things away 'upstairs', ie. somewhere way above my head and out of my sight. So I have to drag out the step stool and search all my top kitchen cupboards to find where he's hidden the glass measuring jug that is SUPPOSED to go where I can reach it. I sometimes think he does it on purpose, just for a chuckle!
